Once again, we have reached the end of the year. Time flies so quickly, that before you know it, you've have just gone through another 365 days. It's been an exciting, fun-filled year, but at the same time filled with some sad memories. Whichever it is, the last day of 2007 is a day for me to close one chapter of my life, and start a new chapter of my life in 2008. So goodbye to 2007, and harlow to 2008! So any new year resolutions for you guys/gals? I have a few, but I think I will put them up in my next post heh. Going to Chee Loong's place later for korean bbq and movies. We all won't be heading down to the federation square for the countdown since we went last year already. It's too packed with people that you can't really move around last year. So we thought it would be a better idea to stay at one person's place and watch the countdown from the TV.
Just finished watching this series called, 至尊玻璃鞋(Queen's)... think this was aired early this year. The acting is alright, and story line is not bad too. Quite comical at some scenes, and best of all it had a happy ending heh. Don't we wish all of us could be like the main characters in this show?
(In the last episode) Main female character wrote in the letter: 我喜欢你的真诚,喜欢你总是很认真的面对一切。只要你专心的在一件事上面,就一定会把它做到最好。这也就是为什么被你喜欢上的人,最后也会喜欢上你的原因。直到此刻,我还是喜欢你。既然如此,为什么我还要离开你?记得吗?你曾经告诉过我,你对我的感情绝对不会因为时间而改变。我离开你是因为我相信你。
Main male character replies at the end of the show: 这份感情绝对不会因为时间而改变。因为不管是你的内在、外在、优点还是缺点,我都喜欢,所以请你相信我,当你愈来愈老的时候,那只代表一件事。。。那就是。。。我愈来愈爱你了。
Both of them are so sweet!

Christmas Shopping
Weee what a long day I had today. Made my way down to Chadstone shopping complex to do some Christmas shopping with my friends. There were so many things I wanted to buy.. man... if I was richer haha, I would have bought a lot of things. Nevermind, waiting for my pay from my project wakakaz. I was looking at all the beach pants, they look so pretty and nice, but the price also very "pretty". I also wanted to buy a cuddly pillow, but hrm.. kinda of broke since I bought a Christmas prezzie for her. It was really funny, 5 of us guys shopping. Imagine 5 of us going into a shop, buying t-shirts, all went to the fitting room together. Ahem.. i mean 5 individual fitting rooms at the same time. Then, we all came out with a bag each containing our t-shirts. It was kinda of funny to me! I also bought a packet of chocolate peanut. Yes, u heard me right, I actually bought chocolate. Well, it was to try, cos it was kinda of fragrant. Even, my bro was wondering why I bought chocolates. For those who do not know what I am talking about, urm... I'm a person who does not really like to eat chocolates.
Awww, I wished there was more time to shop around, cos at around 5 plus, my bro came with his car, so I had to go with him back to his place before taking the car. I had to also borrow a jacket from him since I was in a rush when I left this afternoon. It was raining the whole day, and I braved the cold with just a normal t-shirt.
After that, I drove back to Chadstone to pick up the rest of my buddies and we headed down to Frankston for dinner. It was kinda of far, I think almost 40 mins of driving from Chadstone. Though it was a long drive, we were in the car all talking nonsense... and i really mean nonsense... couldn't stop laughing in the car. Well at least, I didn't feel that bored driving. Finally, we arrived at our destination. I could only say that it was worth the trip down. The restaurant was by the seaside.. awesome! Only sad thing was that it was a rainy day, hence the beach was not as beautiful as it should be. Dinner was not bad, was really stuffed. On the way back, we were deciding what to do for Christmas eve and stuff. Anyway, tml I'm going out again to buy beach pants... wakakaz...
Hrm.. today Jiana is doing her lasik I think. Think everything will go well for her. Say goodbye to specs!! Oh and sorry Ah lai, I didn't have time to look for your bean bag. Don't worry, the ones in the city looks pretty good, shall we stick to Photo-0057.jpg heh heh =p

Hitman
(Picture taken from http://www.themovieblog.com)
Went to watch Hitman today. At first, I thought that it may be only a not so good movie like doom or House of the dead. However, I think director Xavier Gens did a very good job in making the movie out from the game. Even the way Agent 47 walks around was almost the same as the game too. Timothy Olyphant who acted as Agent 47, manage to portray out the character of Agent 47 well enough, not to mention he looks very similar to the Agent 47 in the game, only thing is that Timothy Olyphant is more cute. The plot was alright and there was enough action in this movie to keep u glued to your sits. Overall, a pretty entertaining action movie for me.

Lazy day
I fell asleep last nite after shower, while lying on my bed. Was really tired out, and woke up at 11am today... had to rush and get ready as I had an appointment with my student adviser to ask some questions on Masters courses. Well apparently she said that my honours is slightly higher level than Masters by coursework, so she suggested Masters by research or PhD. No way I'm going to do PhD ler... PhD = Permanent head damage. I think I have enough of research for 1 year. Nevertheless, I'm still keeping my options open, whether to work in Spore or in Australia.
Today, passing by Big W, I saw a digital photo frame on sale, as such, I decided to buy it for my brother to congratulate him on his graduation. He told me before he wanted a digital photo frame, so I guess it would be a great gift. So when I passed it to him, he was overjoyed, and couldn't wait to test it out. Glad that he liked it.

Grats Bro
Arghh... last nite, after some time, I was itchy all over... thanks to the lobster haha.. well at least there were no red spots on me thank God! If not, I duno how to take photos with my bro.
Today's my bro's big day! He graduated from his undergrad! Grats bro! I'm so proud of ya. My dad went early to Monash this morning for his Poly stuff. Then in the afternoon after lunch, my mum and I headed down to Clayton. Guess what? Of all times, the train on platform 2 had to break down at Melbourne Central. Grrrr.... then we had to go platform 4 to take a train to Richmond and switch a train. If that was not bad enough, we had to squeeze with so many passengers! Imagine 2 train loads of passengers squeezed into 1 train. Omg... I really felt like sardines packed in a can. Anyways, after much trouble, we finally reached my bro's place. Dressing up, we went to collect my bro's graduation gown, and started our photo shooting sessions.
Their studio shots are so much better than RMIT one. We had so much time to pose, and not to mention so many shots taken. During my grad ceremony last year, studio shot was like rushing for a train, *snap* *snap* next person. After the studio shots, we went around his Uni to take photos. Man... someone really has to invent some spray to repel those irritating flies... and I really mean irritating.. they stick to u wherever you go. For your information, these flies are not those houseflies we see in Spore/Msia. These are actually bush flies, and they feed on your saliva and sweat for proteins. Hence, naturally they fly around ya. Well other than that, it was alright, gotta meet some of my brother's frens and parents. Oh and I met Shu-en of all places haha! She was also there to attend her fren's graduation ceremony.
His grad ceremony was not too bad, quite an interesting sight. Finally, he gotten his certificate after all these years of study. We had a few more photo shots before calling it a day. There were refreshments, and I helped myself to a few sandwiches while socialising with his frens and frens' parents. After that, we headed for dinner before reaching home. It was really a tiring day for me, but a fruitful one too!

Fattening up
Well, my parents just arrived recently, and they have been bringing me out to eat good meals everyday. Omgz.. I wonder how much calories I have intake for the last few days. I think I needa exercise more man. Today, guess what... I had lobster! Yes, I'm going to test whether my body has evolved over the years.. who noes, I'm no longer allergic to shell stuff. The main reason I'm eating it is bcos my mum n bro want to eat it.. and I could see my bro really really wanna eat it, so its great to see them both happy. My mum really enjoyed the meal... its really seldom that my mum praises the chef, so the quality of the food is quite high I guess.
Yesterday, I went Smith's Street to shop for my tracksuit, but to my disappointment, there was not really anything that I wanted to buy. Oh well, but I still enjoyed my trip down though kekes. Today, I spent almost AUD$70 on facial products... woot... once in a while its alright I guess heh heh. Weee tomorrow's my bro's grad ceremony, so proud of him.

Breakfast anyone?
Woke up early, feeling fresh. Went online and wow, to my amazement, tx and ah lai are still online... unbelievable, they din sleep somehow. After chatting with them a while, I decided to make a nice breakfast for myself to start my day off. So I made scrambled eggs, toast hash browns, toast bread, and 2 strawberries. It tasted good, and I was really full. Though, the scrambled eggs din look as nice I wanted it to be, but it tasted good. Its hard to cook scrambled eggs in such a big pot, needa get a small pot for myself in future heh. Sorry Ah lai, no dim sum, only western breakfast here. =p
After breakfast and some time, I headed down to Uni to meet my Software Testing lecturer to review my exam paper. Well, din really made much mistakes anywhere, just irritated at the last question... the lecturer could have made the question a bit clearer and my life much easier too. When I handed back my exam paper back to my lecturer, he said, "Obviously you did quite well for this subject, what are your plans? Have you finished your degree?" I was like, "Well, I'm currently an Honours student finishing up my Honours thesis." His eyes gleamed for a moment, and suddenly he was quite interested in what I was saying and asked, "So what is your research on? Who is your supervisor?".. bla bla bla.... Somehow I find that here in the Comp Sci faculty, lecturers are somehow very interested in Honours students, and they treat u nicer too! The other time I was invited to join the staff for morning tea too haha. Oh well, I wanted to ask him if he knew any companies that were hiring software testers, but forgotten to do so. Will try to remember to e-mail this coming week to ask about that, and hopefully I could dig my pathway to finding a career.

Any regrets?
Today, her parents n her sis left for Bangkok in the evening. Time really flies that fast, it just seems like her parents were here yesterday. I bought a gift from Smiggles for her sis, so as to encourage her sis to score well in her A-levels. I was actually walking around Smiggles, thinking what to get... haha so in the end gotten a stationary holder, colour pens, and a key chain.. Smiggles stuff are all so pretty and nice.. I wonder if ppl actually use the stationeries that they bought there.
This afternoon before we went Myers to shop, her mum said something to her which made her quite upset... not going to mention what it is but I think that there's nobody at fault here, and that I was quite sad that she has to go through all these things. I was looking around Myers and wanted to buy some books, but I din as I wanted to save money to buy my sports stuff this weekend at Smiths Street. Though I din buy anything, she bought me a thank you bear to thank me for everything in these 3 years. Well, her sis overheard and said, "Wah, 3 years only give a bear ar... so stingy".. haha well jokes aside... I was quite happy to receive the bear cos its really cute that I feel like pinching its cheeks all the times, but at the same time felt quite sad.
There was once someone asked me whether I have any regrets in my life. My answer was no then. However, if someone were to ask me again whether I have any regrets in my life. My answer would be yes. The only thing I regret is not being able to be the guy she wanted, not being able to give her happiness, and not able to have her as my partner for the rest of my life. However, in the future, I think she would have a much better bf who is able to love and care for her much more than I do, and I think that she would be much more happy then. Wish her all the best!

Her graduation
Its time of the year again where students graduate from Uni! Well, so its no exception for her as well. Today's her official graduation day. I gave her the graduation bear the night before and she liked the bear cos it was cute heh heh. I'm very happy for her as well as proud of her!
Well, I attended her graduation parade this morning. Well, at RMIT, there's this graduation parade where graduates start off from Bowen Street and end off at Federation Square, and you will walk along Swanston St for this graduation parade. Its quite cool actually... cool as in the idea.. not the weather. The parade was alright, I ended up being the cameraman for my frens as well as the "bellboy" to help them carry some of their bags. Well it was all good fun. Took a few photos with them too.
This is how we got through Uni =p
Well, it should be a happy day for everyone, but somehow, I was quiet sad towards the end of the day. I din attend her graduation ceremony though, cos I think I would have cried if I did.... then again I did cry in the evening... silly me. Still, I wish I could have attended her grad ceremony. Yes I'm moving on, but well... its not easy as I thought it would be, feelings can't be erased that easily I guess. Anyways, thanks Ah lai for talking to me n cheering me up all these while heh, and also Wendy for chatting with me on the fone today heh. Sorry that you had to be sad with me... wish you were here or I was in SG, then we could go out for a drink, and get Yaohua along too, so that I can borrow his shoulders... heh heh..
Congrats to all those who graduated this year, especially to you, the person I love dearly. Grats to u, I'm so proud of ya!

Shout to the Lord
I was listening to this song, and its still one of my favourite songs. Thank you Lord for all things that you have provided me with.
Shout to the Lord
Darlene Zscech
My Jesus, my Saviour, Lord, there is none like You All of my days, I want to praise, The wonders of Your mighty love
My comfort, my shelter, Tower of refuge and strength Let every breath, all that I am Never cease to worship You
Shout to the Lord, all the earth let us sing, Power and majesty, praise to the King Mountains bow down and the seas will roar, At the sound of Your name
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand Nothing compares to the promise I have in You

Meeting up with an old fren
Heh, just came back from Max Brenner. Met up with Edlyn for dinner and a drink. Its been ages since I last saw her.. I think the last time I saw her was like 10 years ago? She's working in Melb now, and doing quite well. We had dinner, chatted about the times back in RV, and also about the frens around us. After dinner, we headed down to Max Brenner for a drink as she had quite a bit of alcoholic drinks the last few days. Then she was thinking whether to have a Belgium waffle as we were quite full for dinner. In the end, we decided to share and ordered a tuti frutti Belgium waffle, kekes.. yummy ice-cream, strawberry, banana and waffle topped with chocolate. We chatted till Max Brenner was closing, then headed home. It was great meeting an old friend whom I haven seen for 10 years.
