Recently just finished watching this Taiwan series called Tokyo Juliet which was broadcast in year 2006. Starting of this drama shows Lin Lai Sui promising herself that she will defeat one of the top class designers called Chu Xing as he had stolen her "Little Daisy" design. This drama was about how 2 people who are in love with fashion design and also in love with each other met and got together. However, there were many obstacles that were in their relationship, especially for the main female character Lin Lai Sui. In short, the whole drama was how the couple managed to overcome all the obstacles and be together finally. The drama was quite entertaining, funny at times, but also quite sad most of the times. However, the ending could be better I thought. Things such as Lin Lai Sui's mother and her was not really clarified in the end. Though its just a drama, still it tells us that in a relationship, there are bound to be obstacles. To overcome them, its important that you have trust and faith in your partner, and face these obstacles together no matter how hard they maybe. Anyway, if you're looking for a taiwan show to watch, this show is alright. The male main character is very cute by the way, and also the show has one of my favourite female actress Ariel Lin.

Happy Chinese New Year
Happy Chinese New Year to all of you out there!! 新年快乐,恭喜发财,年年有余,万事如意!!I guess all of you out there had a good time collecting yr ang baos... cis... I dun have any this year, sadz man.
Anyways, went to my bro's place to have dinner with him and his church friends. Other than those friends that I already knew, I managed to befriend a few others too. They're really a fun bunch of people, and I'm glad that God has put them in my bro's life. After dinner, we played some games which were kinda of funny and new to me.... maybe i'm growing old already, so duno much about these new group activities. Anyway, one of my bro's friend shared her thoughts about CNY. She said last year was her first time that she had CNY away from home, and it was depressing as she was not with her family. However, she does have a family in Melbourne and they are with her too! They're God's family, brothers and sisters in Christ. I think she shared something really meaningful and serves as a good reminder as well! Amen!
Well have a fun filled Chinese New Year with lots of ang bao and goodies! Here's a short clip which I find its quite interesting. It may take a while to load, so be patient, cheers!

Male & Female
Was at myers reading one of these joke books, and managed to find the same joke on the internet, so check this out.
Computer Gender A language instructor was explaining to her class that in French, nouns unlike their English counterparts, are grammatically designated as masculine or feminine. "House," in French, is feminine - "la maison." "Pencil," in French, is masculine "le crayon." One puzled student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?" The teacher didn't know, and the word wasn't in her French dictionary. So for fun, she split the class into 2 groups appropriately enough, by gender and asked them to decide whether "computer" should be a masculine or feminine noun. Both groups were required to give 4 reasons for their recommendation.
The men's group decided that computers should definitely be of the feminine gender ("la computer"), because:
No one but their creator understands their internal logic
The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for possible later retrieval; and
As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.
The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be masculine ("le computer"), because:
In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
They have a lot of data, but they are still clueless.
They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and
As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you'd waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.
Well, other than that, lai sent me this video clip about male and female brain which is very true and humourous.
