Need more exercise!
Well woke up this morning, and continued on with my work before heading down to Vic Market with Jonathan to buy some meat and vegetables. Well, the guys went over to Xian Zhi's place to party last night and stayed over, so din see my housemate this morning ha! Maybe he and Khoon might have K.O. from the drinking session. After marketing, we headed to Domino's for pizza. Can't really remembered the last time I had pizza from Dominos, I think it was last year at Chee Loong's place.
Near evening time, I decided to head out to Princes Park for a jog. OMGz, after this jogging session, I told myself, I really need more exercise. Too much slacking in terms of exercising, and I guess my stamina has gone down tremendously!! So from now on, I'm going to jog more frequently, which reminds me, I gotta ask my mum to bring down at least 1 set of track suit for me. Oh well, I still love jogging, keeps me fit and keeps me away from stress too! Good way to relax, and keep healthy at the same time.

Melbourne International Motor Show 2008Yeap, it's been some time since I last blog. Been too busy with admin stuff and paper works. I wish we need not deal with admin stuff nor paper work, just takes up so much of our time for the sake of formality.
Anyways, along with a few friends, we went for the Melbourne International Motor show 2008 which was held at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre. There were really lots of car brands there, including some which I haven heard of. Guess what, I actually saw Proton cars there!! OMGz!! I wonder how's the Proton market like in Australia, but judging from the people that visited the Proton car booth, I wouldn't say that its that popular if you noe what I mean. We sat in a few cars and looked at the interior panels, some of them were really nicer, and futuristic too!
Well, first stop was BMW cars. Nothing much really interesting in the BMW area with the BMW 3 series convertible, M3, M6, Z4 Coupe etc. I'm not really a BMW fan, so yeah.. here are a few pictures from the BMW zone.

Then there was the Mazda zone. I kinda of like Mazda cars especially MX-5, RX-7 and RX-8. RX-8 is definitely one of the cars I would love to buy as a sports car, but not when I get a family though. It has a nice sleek exterior though not as sleek as compared to RX-7 I would say. Performance wise, it has a 6-speed manual transmission with a rotary engine producing up to 238 horsepower at 8500 rpm and 0-60mph in about 5.8 sec. Awesome! Then again, its not possible to use the full potential of the car in Australia or Singapore cos' of speed limits.. gah! Oh there was a special highlight for the Mazda section. They had the concept car called Hakaze. Apparently, Hakaze is a jap word where ha means leaf and kaze means wind which suits the car seemingly to cut through air. The car really look futuristic and had a removable roof too. However, as the car was on the rotating platform, I couldn't get to see much of its interior. Check out the pic below for this futuristic car, looks like one of those cars in the movie "Back to the Future".

Well of course there are the Ferrari cars, which really is kinda of like "see see, but no $$ to buy" for most people. Guess how much the Lambourgini cost? It was about AUD$640,000++... omgzzzzzzz, I can literally buy a well furnished home with that amount. It's really crazy how expensive cars can cost. Only millionaires can afford these kinda of cars, and if you do own one, would you drive it to do your grocery shopping at supermarkets? Haha.. I doubt it.

And yes I saw the new Nissan GT-R!! It uses a VR38DETT engine - a 3.8L DOHC V6 which has 352kW of power allowing it to reach 0-100km/h in a whopping time of 3.5 seconds!! It has a 6 speed dual clutch semi-automatic transmission, and well Nissan claims that it can reach up to top speed of 310km/h. Another sports car worth buying for those who can afford it! Did I mention that I always like the rear lights of GT-Rs, well thats what really distinguishes them from most of the other cars.

Well, there still so many other brands like Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, etc. I could go on and on about them, but well I guess that's it from me for now. Cheers!
